Gelotti Ice Cream started in 1984 in historic Paterson, NJ. Since day one Gelotti products have been homemade and hand packed using age old gelato making techniques and modern flavor profiles.
15 years later in 2001 the Sigona family opened their second Gelotti location in Caldwell, NJ at the site of the first Baskin-Robbins on the East Coast.
In 2016, 15 years from the opening of Gelotti Caldwell, Gelotti of Montclair will have its grand opening. Continuing family traditions for a new generation of Gelotti fans.
A lot has changed in 30 years. Technology, taste buds, trends, and even the remergence of the frozen yogurt fad. But through it all Gelotti has always remained a staple in North Jersey desserts, featured in The Record, Housewives of Nj, and countless birthday parties year long!
